Polish Learning App RiseGuide Picks Up Gold Stevie for Rethinking Self-Improvement

As announced via Yahoo Finance,

Most self-improvement apps ask a lot of their users and receive little in return — modules go unfinished, courses are abandoned halfway, and good intentions fade after the first week. RiseGuide, a Warsaw-founded platform, has now been recognised internationally for cracking that problem.

As announced via Yahoo Finance, the company has won a Gold Stevie® Award in the Learning & Education category at the 23rd Annual International Business Awards® — one of the most established global business award programmes, with more than 3,400 entries submitted this year from organisations in 82 countries. RiseGuide was the sole winner recognised in its category.

The judging panel, made up of over 200 professionals across nine specialist committees, praised RiseGuide for standing apart in a saturated market and for how quickly it has been adopted by users. The platform’s personalised learning paths and availability in seven languages were flagged as particular strengths, with judges noting these features help make the app accessible to a much wider audience. More broadly, the panel credited RiseGuide with tackling a familiar weakness in adult education: people consume plenty of information but rarely turn it into an actual, usable skill.

That distinction shows up clearly in the platform’s own numbers. Since launching in 2024, RiseGuide has passed 1 million downloads and now reaches around 400,000 monthly active users, who have collectively spent over 1.3 million hours learning inside the app. Around 30% of new users are still active three weeks in — a retention rate well above what long-form online courses typically achieve, and one the company treats as its strongest evidence that the model actually works.

“As a team, we already believe in this vision and in what we are building,” said founder and CEO Oleksandr Matsiuk, who credited the win to the more than 100-person team behind the platform’s product, content, marketing, and support work.

RiseGuide says it will keep building out its lesson library — adding new content each month across communication, public speaking, negotiation, and confidence — while preparing to announce partnerships with recognised industry experts in the months ahead. The company’s largest markets remain the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.
